Vector Aerospace Corporation was created in 1998, and quickly established itself as a significant player in the global aviation MRO industry.
Historically Vector's diverse portfolio of maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO) were delivered through three operating divisions: ACROHELIPRO Global Services, Atlantic Turbines International and Sigma Aerospace. Then, in 2008 Vector Aerospace united the operational divisions under one brand; “Vector Aerospace;” helping ensure the consistent delivery of Vector's industry-leading services to all its fixed and rotary-wing customers. With the addition of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence’s (DARA - Defence Aviation Repair Agency) Fleetlands (rotary wing) and Almondbank (components) businesses in 2009, Vector Aerospace established itself of the most recognizable and leading aviation MRO companies in the world.
On June 30, 2011, Vector Aerospace became part of the EADS/Eurocopter group of companies; providing Vector unique opportunities for the development of new markets, new products and new methods to improve upon its processes.
