| Technician- Process Shop
This is technical work related to the repair of components, by welding, epoxy application, plasma or wire spray coating, water jet stripping and plating. Surface treatments by the application of anti-galling coatings, dry film compounds, metalized paints and conversion coatings, to both original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and Vector - Atlantic specifications. The work also involves the operation of both vacuum furnace and curing ovens, as well as the preparation of components by the use of rotary tools and shot peen equipment.

| Technician - Engine Shop
This position is considered to be the core business activity within the company and contains a number of different tasks. Most activities in the Engine Shop and Test Cell fall under the broad category of Gas Turbine Engine Repair and Overhaul Technician. A fully trained Engine Technician is able to complete to a certain degree, tasks related to the assembly, disassembly, inspection, balancing, airflow and test of a gas turbine engine in accordance with the manufacturer specification and company procedures.

Repair assistants are responsible for cleaning individual engine components in accordance with specified procedures as defined in the applicable Pratt & Whitney Canada manual or other documentation for each specific part.
